Flight Test Engineering

Advanced Development to FAA Certification.

Create a realistic project timeline that is in line with the company’s strategic plan.
Manage engineering experiments to identify, test, prove or modify engineering propositions to aid in the development of new products.
Direct and perform product changes which include analysis, review, and product change documentation.
Design new products, modify existing designs, improve production techniques and develop test procedures.
Insure compliance with company polices procedures and objectives regarding processes, initiatives and projects.
Work closely with program managers to formulate, implement and execute development strategies.
Facilitate with Project Management Review Boards.
Coordinate Preliminary and Critical Design Reviews.
Assist with the construction of prototypes.
Conduct bench tests and hardware in loop testing.
Conduct all the required aircraft environmental testing.
Conduct all aircraft ground testing required prior to first flight.
Facilitate Flight Readiness Reviews.
Facilitate Safety Reviews.
Flight Test and Certification:

Advanced Development with the aircraft pre-prototype phase.
Research and Development with the aircraft prototype phase.
Functional and Reliability with the conformed product.
Certification of any product for a FAA Supplementary Type Certificate (STC) or a complete aircraft design Type Certificate (TC) for transport category (Part 25) or general aviation (Part 23).
