Flight Test Engineering
Advanced Development to FAA Certification:
- Create a realistic project timeline that is in line with the companys strategic plan.
- Manage engineering experiments to identify, test, prove or modify engineering propositions to aid in the development of new products.
- Direct and perform product changes which include analysis, review, and product change documentation.
- Design new products, modify existing designs, improve production techniques and develop test procedures.
- Ensure compliance with company polices procedures and objectives regarding processes, initiatives and projects.
- Work closely with program managers to formulate, implement and execute development strategies.
- Facilitate with Project Management Review Boards.
- Coordinate Preliminary and Critical Design Reviews.
- Assist with the construction of prototypes.
- Conduct bench tests and hardware in loop testing.
- Conduct all the required aircraft environmental testing.
- Conduct all aircraft ground testing required prior to first flight.
- Facilitate Flight Readiness Reviews.
- Facilitate Safety Reviews.
